Antara: Hundreds of HTI members urge govt to solve national problem

Jakarta (ANTARA News) – Hundreds of members of the Indonesian Hizbut Tahrir (HTI) staged a peaceful demonstration in the Hotel Indonesia traffic circle, Central Jakarta, to demand the settlement of the many
problems confronting the nation.

“The main problems in need of a solution include increase in the prices of basic necessaries which have caused the people further hardship,” one of the demonstrators told Antara here on Tuesday.

Other problems are malnutrition, poverty, corruption, environmental pollution and damaged highways in many parts of the country.

During the street rally, HTI demonstrators brought with them a bier symbolizing the death of the government conscience in facing various problems.

A HTI spokesman Muhammad Ismail Yusanto said that the demonstration was not only held in Jakarta but in many regions of Indonesia.

The solution offered by HTI in facing a the many problem facing this country was implementing a caliphate government system. (*)
