Obituary of a Da’wah Carrier in Wilayah Jordan: Al-Hajj Ishaq Ahmad Ibrahim Al-‘A

﴿مِّنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ رِجَالٌ صَدَقُوا مَا عَاهَدُوا اللَّهَ عَلَيْهِ فَمِنْهُم مَّن قَضَىٰ نَحْبَهُ

وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَنتَظِرُ وَمَا بَدَّلُوا تَبْدِيلًا﴾

“Among the believers are men true to what they promised Allah. Among them is he who has fulfilled his vow [to the death], and among them is he who awaits [his chance]. And they did not alter [the terms of their commitment] by any alteration” [Al-Ahzaab: 23]

Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah of Jordan mourns to the Muslim Ummah in general and to the Muslims in Jordan in particular, one of its sincere first members, Brother:

Al-Hajj Ishaq Ahmad Ibrahim Al-‘Asal (Abu Ahmad)

His soul passed away at the age of 89 years old, which he spent in the obedience of Allah (swt) carrying the Islamic dawah and working with Hizb ut Tahrir to resume the Islamic way of life through the implementation of the Khilafah Rashidah (righteous Caliphate) on the method of the Prophethood. He was being patient in adversaries for the sake of Allah: he was pursued, oppressed, fired from work, imprisoned by the oppressors of the regime in Jordan and the regime of Al-Saud, that imprisoned him for two years, and deported him from the land of Al-Haramain for no crime except for saying “Allah is my Lord”. Our brother (may Allah have Mercy on his soul) he was courageous in standing for the truth he didn’t fear anyone in speaking the truth but Allah, He had a soft heart and cried when Khilafah was mentioned.

We ask Allah, to show wide mercy towards him, to make his abode the higher Jannah of Al-Firdous with the Prophets, the Truthful Ones, the Martyrs, the Righteous and the best of their company. We also ask Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala to bestow us and his family with patience and solace, and to observe the best mourning.

﴿إِنَّا للهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ﴾

“Verily to Allah do we belong and verily to Allah do we return.” [Al-Baqarah: 156]
