Verily the month of Ramadan which was received in the past throughout the Islamic history by victory and conquests has more recently for nearly a century of time come to be received with sadness and many pains. This is because the disbelievers and oppressors are discharging more and more of their spite and hatred against the Muslims in this month of Ramadan in the absence of a shepherd, protector or even a friend for them. Indeed America launched its operations in the invasion of the land of Iraq in the month of Ramadan, the Jewish entity drenches the blessed lands with blood every Ramadan, the murderous criminal Baathist regime intensifies its massacres in the times of Iftaar and Suhoor in Ramadan for five years now and the same applies to Egypt, Yemen and Arakan (Burma)…
And in the Ramadan of this year Communist China undertook a massacre against the Muslims who live in East Turkestan. The Kaffir China had already committed a large massacre as a prelude to genocide in Ramadan on the 5th of April 1990. Since that time it has increased its persecution and repression of the Muslims in every month of fasting every year. The number of Muslim martyrs from East Turkestan at the hands of China had reached 100 by June 2015 and in Ramadan of this year, the Chinese government issued a special circular to ban the fasting of all Muslims employed within the state and their families and relatives in addition to the students and teachers who work upon state salaries. In some areas the Muslims were humiliated and contempt was shown towards the Islamic values through contests forcing the drinking of alcohol. It was also stipulated to obtain a special permission from the police in order to perform the prayers inside the Masaajid in the month of Ramadan whilst heavy fines are imposed upon families that have children and do not abide by the ban on having children. They then seize and confiscate the property of those who are unable to pay these fines in addition to their houses and anything they own. In addition tens of thousands of Chinese have seen resettled from central regions to be placed amongst the Muslims whilst at the same time the Muslims of East Turkestan are expelled by force from their lands.

The hypocritical West is silent throughout all of this whilst the following grim statement came from the Turkish Foreign Ministry: “The public opinion in our land has sadly received the news of a ban being imposed upon Muslims in the region of Sinjaan Uighur of semi-autonomous rule in respect to their fasting and other acts of worship by the People’s Republic of China. The Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China in Ankara has informed us that he has conveyed our concerns about the news that has come from the People’s Republic of China which we affirm the integrity and unity of its lands, its stability, security and peace”. Indeed this statement is very similar to the one issued by the Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu issued on the 5th of July 2009 after the massacre that China perpetrated against the Muslims in Urameshi when he said: “Our relations with China recently has been in a good state and we hope that this trouble comes to an end”!

We in Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah of Turkey remind the Turkish government and the Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu with the following matter: O Rulers! The land of East Turkestan is not part of Unified China and this land is not Chinese land. Rather just the opposite to that because it is Islamic land which has been occupied by China and it is just like the occupation of the land of Palestine by the Jewish entity or the American occupation of Afghanistan. These are the lands which Islam entered upon the hands of the Noble Sahaabah (May Allah’s pleasure be upon them all) and they were opened by the Muslim armies under the leadership of Qutaibah Bin Muslim Al-Bahili. So how can you acknowledge the legitimacy of the occupation of the Chinese state which perpetrates acts of injustice, oppression, persecution and massacres against the Muslims in this land? How to judge East Turkestan to be part of the unified integrity of the Chinese lands? It can never be right to stand silent before the oppression and massacres that are perpetrated against the Muslims there out of a fear related to interests, relations and agreements which have been signed between Turkey and the People’s Republic of China. This weak response which is not worth anything does not go beyond being a great act of self-deception. History will never forgive these political stances and positions that you have taken and you will never be capable of fooling the Muslims with these political positions of yours.

O Muslims! Open your ears to the cries of your brothers in Turkestan! Don’t make your ears deaf to coming to their aid and do not leave them alone and even if the rest of the world as a whole has turned away from them. Account your rulers who are not undertaking what is obliged upon them in terms of supporting them. Don’t let your anger be directed towards the People’s Republic of China alone but rather demand from your rulers also to undertake what is obligatory upon them in terms of supporting the Muslims. The time has come for you to move to support the Muslims of Turkestan and to become seriously dedicated to the work to resume the Islamic life via the establishment of the Right Guided Khilafah State upon the method of the Prophethood the very role of which is to put a stop to these acts of oppression. You must also account the oppressors and know that it is Allah who is An-Nassir and Al-Mu’een (The one who provides victory and assistance).

إِنَّا لَنَنصُرُ رُسُلَنَا وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَيَوْمَ يَقُومُ الْأَشْهَادُ
“Verily, We will indeed make victorious Our Messengers and those who believe in this world’s life and on the Day when the witnesses will stand forth (i.e. Day of Resurrection)” [Ghaafir: 51].
