Karimov Imprisons, Tortures and Kills Muslims in Uzbekistan, Shaking His Hand is Only Endorsing His Crimes

Hizb ut Tahrir Wilayah Pakistan strongly condemns the meeting of Nawaz Sharif with Karimov, the killer of Uzbekistan’s Muslims and open enemy of Islam and Muslims. Karimov has turned Uzbekistan into a terrible jail for all those Muslims who love Islam, in a land which produced the renowned and respected Muhadith Imam Bukhari (may Allah (swt) have Mercy on him) amongst many other treasures. Did Nawaz Sharif not feel any shame or remorse when he went to the mausoleum of Imam Bukhari that he had just shaken hands with Karimov who has prohibited calling for Islam, whose hands are drenched with the blood of Muslims and yet he spills more blood unabated?

Does Nawaz Sharif not know that Karimov slaughtered hundreds of Muslims in Andijan in 2005? Does Nawaz Sharif not know that Karimov has placed thousands of Muslims, men and women, in jails for over ten and fifteen years, subjecting them to severe torture, in some cases leading to martyrdom, just because they demand the implementation of Islam on the land of Imam Bukhari? Did Nawaz Sharif not know that Karimov has banned the entering of youth in mosques and forbidden government officials from offering prayers? Did Nawaz Sharif not know that Karimov has banned women from wearing Khimar and Jilbab and stopped men from growing beards? Did Nawaz Sharif not know that Karimov hates Islam and Muslims? Surely he knew all this, but still he preferred to take the side of the oppressor, rather than the oppressed Muslims of Uzbekistan.

Maybe Nawaz Sharif wants to learn from Karimov as to how he tries to erase Islam from the land of Imam Bukhari and turn it in to a “liberal” land. Indeed, the Raheel-Nawaz regime may have already sought the Uzbek tyrant’s advice previously, as it has been sending sincere Muslims behind bars all over the country for some time, upon the orders of its master sitting in Washington, so as to impose Kufr “liberal” concepts and values and fight against so-called “terrorism” and “extremism,” under the banner of the National Action Plan.

However, the Raheel-Nawaz regime must know that just as the Muslims of Uzbekistan still hold Islam close to their hearts despite oppression, similarly the Muslims of Pakistan will never abandon Islam. By shaking hands with Karimov, the Raheel-Nawaz regime has made it clear that it does not stand with the friends of Allah (swt) and Muhammad (saw), rather it stands with their open enemies. And this decision will ruin their fate in this world and the Hereafter as well.

وَإِن مِّنكُمْ إِلاَّ وَارِدُهَا كَانَ عَلَىٰ رَبِّكَ حَتْماً مَّقْضِيّاً * ثُمَّ نُنَجِّى ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّقَواْ وَّنَذَرُ ٱلظَّالِمِينَ فِيهَا جِثِيّاً

“There is not one of you but will pass over it (Hell); this is with your Lord; a Decree which must be accomplished. Then We shall save those who use to fear Allah and were dutiful to Him. And We shall leave the Zalimun therein (humbled) to their knees (in Hell)”
