Obituary of a Dawah Carrier

(Translated)

(مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ رِجَالٌ صَدَقُوا مَا عَاهَدُوا اللَّهَ عَلَيْهِ ۖ فَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ قَضَىٰ نَحْبَهُ وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ يَنْتَظِرُ ۖ وَمَا بَدَّلُوا تَبْدِيلًا)

“Of the believers are men who are true to that which they covenanted with Allah. Some of them have paid their vow by death (in battle), and some of them still are waiting; and they have not altered in the least” [Al-Ahzab: 23]

Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Jordan mourns to the Muslims in general and the people of Jordan specifically, the death of one of its endowed, sincere and refined shabab, the brother:

Ghassan Khalil al-Khalidi (Abu Anas)

He passed away at fajr today, Friday 13/11/2015, due to illness.

Abu Anas, may Allah have mercy upon him, was assigned great responsibilities by the Hizb in which he was an example of benevolence, obedience, patience, good manners and steadfastness. In his path in the dawah, he faced torture in prisons and detentions and he remained firm, dignified and steady.

Faced with this calamity we only say that which will please our Lord and we ask Almighty to bestow him with His Mercy that encompasses all things and that He bestow him the spacious gardens in the highest Firdaws with the prophets, the believers, the martyrs, the righteous and they are the best companion. We also ask Almighty to bestow his family and us with patience and solace.

(إنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون)
