Naveed Butt was Abducted after Exposing Traitors in the Military Leadership Over US’s Abbotabad Attack
On 27th April 2016, extracts of a book by renowned American journalist, Seymour Hersh, were published in the English newspaper Dawn, in which he said that he is convinced more than ever before that Pakistan helped the US to get Osama. Seymour Hersh declared in his new book The Killing of Osama Bin Laden, wrote that, “The United States and Pakistan then struck a deal: The US would raid Bin Laden’s compound but make it looks as if Pakistan was unaware.”
Seymour Hersh’s testimony is not required to establish that the attack on Abbotabad on 2nd May 2011 was conducted with the full backing and support of traitors in the military leadership. Any sane person who is aware of US military history knows well that the United States is incapable of launching an attack within a powerful country like Pakistan, unless she is assured that there will be no resistance or response. Therefore, after this attack Naveed Butt, the Spokesman of Hizb ut Tahrir in the Wilayah of Pakistan, immediately uncovered the treachery of traitors in the political and military leadership through his press statements. On 2nd May 2011, Naveed Butt said, “The Abbotabad operation represents a suicide attack mounted by the traitor rulers’ against Pakistan’s sovereignty… To avoid embarrassment, whilst officially denying any involvement of knowledge of the attack, the rulers leaked reports confirming that the operations could never take place without Pakistan’s intelligence agencies” (Press Release Serial Number: pk11021pr). Similarly Naveed Butt severely criticized the statement of General Kayani which was issued to calm the anger and anti-US hatred directed against the military leadership at that time, in which he requested the Americans to reduce their number of troops in Pakistan. Naveed Butt on 6th May 2011 said, “The commander of the largest armed forces in the Muslim World is requesting from America that it reduces its troop presence in Pakistan…. We must not forget that it was Kayani who was the head of the ISI when the innocent children were slaughtered in Jam’ia Hafsa in the Lal Masjid incident. It was Kayani that upon American dictation initiated operations in Swat, Bajour Agency, South Waziristan and Orakzai Agency, killing thousands of Muslims….. So, there is no doubt that Kiyani and the current military leadership are not less than Musharraf, in fact they are a few steps ahead” (Press Release Serial Number: pk11023pr).
After exposing the treacheries of traitors in the military leadership, Naveed Butt suffered abduction by the thugs of Generals Kayani and Shuja Pasha. Even after the departure of General Kayani, General Raheel Sharif has neither presented Naveed Butt in any court, nor released him and he remains a “missing person” almost four years later. If General Raheel were sincere to Pakistan then he would have arrested Musharaf and Kayani and released Naveed Butt, who safeguarded the interests of Islam and Pakistan by exposing the treachery of traitors in military leadership. Hizb ut Tahrir Wilayah Pakistan calls upon the sincere officers in the armed forces to seize the traitors in their leadership and provide Nussrah for the establishment of the Khilafah (Caliphate) upon the method of the Prophethood. Only the Khilafah will end Pakistan’s slavery to America and humiliation at her hands.
