Until when will the Honour of Muslim Women be violated in Central Africa?
(Translated)
Human Rights Watch organisation in a report published on Wednesday, 22/04/2015 spoke of the suffering of the Muslims from the Fulani (Fellata) tribes in Central Africa; of kidnapping and frequent rape and killing by the Ante Balaka, the anti-Islamic gangs in Central Africa. The United Nations forces announced on Sunday the release of 21 of the Fulani Muslims who were held by the Ante Balaka since 2014. The released women have narrated harrowing accounts of repeated rapes; they are broken down and are in a state of shock.
Calamities fall one after the other and the blood of the sons of the Islamic Ummah and honour is violated under an international silence, except for some flimsy denunciations, that does not end the suffering, but instead the suffering increased further due to the negligence by their Muslim brothers and sisters. The body of this Ummah is torn into parts by agreements that ended its unity and orphaned its children who are without a guardian to defend them and save their blood and defend their honor, and the flags of colonialism divide us. Those vulnerable have no sponsors and no representatives, their situation is similar to all the affected Muslim minorities in all parts of the world. Despite knowing of their long term plight, the states of destruction do not move a finger to their support, and the blood in the veins of the kings and leaders of factions does not boil and move them to defend the honour of the weeping Muslim women who are crying for help, but they deafen their ears and only hear the calls of conflict and divisions between them and they have sleepless nights to ensure the implementation of their masters’ plans.
According to the Human Rights Watch organization, one of the sisters, an 18 year old, who survived from the clutches of the Ante Balaka gangs, stated that she was raped by several of them during the captivity. She said, “It was against my will I would not accept it. It was not one man, they were many and they were beating me and I am now pregnant”. Another sister she is approximately twenty years of age was raped repeatedly during her capture by a Christian fighter from the Ante Balaka after he claimed she was his wife.
Until when will the honour of Muslims women be violated? How can they accept that a few handfuls of criminal gangs dare to attack Muslim women? Isn’t the honour to a Muslim more precious than life? Isn’t it a priority that the “decisive storms” should be mobilized to end the plight of Muslim women whose honour is violated and to aim their weapons towards the enemies of the Muslim Ummah and the mob who dared to violate the honour of Muslim women?
How long will the Muslim armies remain immobilized from supporting its Ummah and lost from the path of glory?? Is it not the time to raise the banner of Tawhid, Glory, and Empowerment, and to discard the banners of division, humiliation and subordination?
Our sisters in Central Africa! Do not despair; the mercy of your Lord will descend soon by the return of your Khaleefah who is absent, but his absence will not be for long, Allah willing, as long as in your Ummah there are the sincere who are working to support this Deen and make its word the highest and raise its banner. Then you will be avenged and every Muslim too, whose blood is spilled or honour is violated.
“And that day the believers will rejoice. In the victory of Allah. He gives victory to whom He wills, and He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. [It is] the promise of Allah. Allah does not fail in His promise, but most of the people do not know.” [Ar-Rum: 4-6]
