Verily to Allah we Belong and Verily to Allah We Return  Obituary of the Brother Muhammad Haafiz Sa’eedi (Abu Ammar)

Hizb ut Tahrir in the Wilayah of Syria mourn with great sadness and sorrow the death of Brother Muhammad Haafiz Sa’eedi (Abu Ammar) who was hit by a sniper’s bullet in Al-Wa’r district in the city of Homs on 12/10/2015 and martyred as a result of this on 13/10/2015. He was one of the Shabab of Hizb ut Tahrir, working within its ranks and who carried the Da’wah with him adopting the issues of the Islamic Ummah, at the top of which was the issue of the establishment of the rightly guided Khilafah upon the methodology of the Prophethood. This is what led him to be detained at the hands of the criminal regime’s security apparatus in the days of the buried Haafizh Al-Assad. He was sentenced by the state security court for five years where he was arrested on 13/12/1999 and released from prison on 17/07/2004. He spent that time in patient perseverance with the hope of reward and the knowledge of the glad tidings of the promise of Allah. He then came out of prison to continue his path towards the establishment of the rightly guided Khilafah. He was not prevented by sickness and the oppressions of the prison did not divert him from pursuing the path until his Ajal was fulfilled, may Allah cover him in His Mercy.

May Allah’s mercy be upon you O Abu Ammar, and may He lodge you in His spacious wide gardens and we will not say except that which is pleasing to our Lord.
