What Is The Matter With You, How Do You Judge?!

(Translated)

On the 17 October 2015, a statement by the International Union of Muslim Scholars was issued in the media. We have read what was published on the website of the International Council of Muslim Scholars, which was a text addressing Muslims and Arab people and their leaders and Muslim scholars and the whole free world, “calling them to reject the Russian intervention in Syria and to support the Syrian people in their fight for their freedom from the criminal corrupt system of Bashar.”  Afterwards the Council was criticized on the grounds that they took this step without the knowledge or counsel from the Russian members in the Council. The bombing of Syria has been justified on the grounds that it is to fight against ISIS, and Russia claims to be a friend of the Islamic Ummah and the defender of the entire world from the evil of the Western world and terrorism.

Since the writing of this statement, asking the Council to take into account the opinion of the Muslims of Russia, we therefore ask them: Are those who are killed by Russian bombs in Syria not Muslims, after they have entered the fifth year of Assad’s repression?! This is after the Syrian people took to the streets in reaction to this tyrant’s terror. And what his henchmen (Shabiha) did afterwards of acts of torture and mass killing of peaceful demonstrators, isn’t that what led people to resort to armed resistance?

Muslim blood being spilled for no crime is precisely what made people defend themselves with weapons from this criminal, but they were labeled as terrorists. Then the people of Syria aspired for their liberation from this terrorist regime and took to the streets demanding to be governed by the Shariah law of Allah on Earth. So what is the relationship of ISIS with this? Where it is known that Assad militias are not engaged in fighting with this group, and Russian planes are bombing Idlib and Hama, where there is no ISIS presence. What is the matter with you how do you judge? Do you not remember?

Allah (swt) says:

(وَلَئِنِ اتَّبَعْتَ أَهْوَاءَهُمْ مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا جَاءَكَ مِنَ الْعِلْمِ إِنَّكَ إِذًا لَمِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ)

“So if you were to follow their desires after what has come to you of knowledge, indeed, you would then be among the wrongdoers” [Al-Baqara: 145]

You blame the West of fabricating excuses for the actions of the Kremlin. Is not the bombing of Syria an agreed action between Russia and America? The blessed Ash-Sham was bombed the next day after Putin met with Obama, and the Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov said that they cannot allow the fall of Assad’s regime and the establishment of the Khilafah. The pursuit of the people of Syria to establish the Khilafah on the method of Prophethood is precisely what led to the Geneva Conventions 1 and 2 to fail and, all America’s attempts that followed to impose their new agent did not bear fruit. The Americans made a decision of using the dirty work provided by Russia after all its efforts to create an armed opposition to the new secular system has failed.

Today the West and the Russians are killing Muslims by bombing to recruit the revolutionaries to participate in the negotiations on the secular future Syria.

You call yourselves scholars right? So why do you not possess the boldness of the scholars to speak the truth and not to follow the footsteps of the oppressors?!

Allah (swt) says:

(وَلَا تَرْكَنُوا إِلَى الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا فَتَمَسَّكُمُ النَّارُ وَمَا لَكُم مِّن دُونِ اللَّهِ مِنْ أَوْلِيَاءَ ثُمَّ لَا تُنصَرُونَ)

And do not incline toward those who do wrong, lest you be touched by the Fire, and you would not have other than Allah any protectors; then you would not be helped” [Hud: 113]

Fear the wrath of Allah (swt), do not help in spilling the blood of innocent Muslims in the blessed Ash-Sham. For all your actions will be written in your book of deeds and the punishment of the one who kills a Muslim even indirectly is grave to Allah (swt). Do not be an aid to the tyrants, and do not hide that Islam requires the implementation of the Shariah law of Allah, and do not betray the people of Syria who have suffered immensely.

Allah (swt) says:

(إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَكْتُمُونَ مَا أَنْزَلْنَا مِنَ الْبَيِّنَاتِ وَالْهُدَى مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا بَيَّنَّاهُ لِلنَّاسِ فِي الْكِتَابِ أُولَئِكَ يَلْعَنُهُمُ اللَّهُ وَيَلْعَنُهُمُ اللاعِنُونَ. إِلا الَّذِينَ تَابُوا وَأَصْلَحُوا وَبَيَّنُوا فَأُولَئِكَ أَتُوبُ عَلَيْهِمْ وَأَنَا التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ)

“Indeed, those who conceal what We sent down of clear proofs and guidance after We made it clear for the people in the Scripture – those are cursed by Allah and cursed by those who curse.” [Al-Baqara: 159]
