Obituary of a Da’wah Carrier in Jordan: Muhammad Abdul Wahid al-Anid
Obituary of a Da’wah Carrier
“Among the believers are men true to what they promised Allah. Among them is he who has fulfilled his vow [to the death], and among them is he who awaits [his chance]. And they did not alter [the terms of their commitment] by any alteration” [Al-Ahzaab: 23].
Hizb ut Tahrir Wilayah Jordan mourns to the Muslim Ummah in general and to the Muslims in Jordan, one of its faithful sincere patient members, Brother Sheikh:
Mohammad Muhammad Abdul Wahid al-Anid (Abu Hamzah)
His soul (rahmatullah alaihi) passed away on Monday, during Dhuhr time, November 6, 2017, at the age of 71 years old, pleased and accepting to Allah’s will, enduring his disease, which he spent in the obedience of Allah (swt) and Prophet Muhammad (saw), carrying the Islamic dawah and working to resume the Islamic way of life through the implementation of the Khilafah Rashidah (righteous Caliphate) on the method of the Prophethood. He spent his efforts and energy in carrying the dawah spreading it to all people so that the people of his area will remember the Khilafah and its glory and the glory of the Muslims just by seeing him or if he passed through streets. He was solid in the right as a rock, proud of his religion and dawah as the splendid mountains, being patient for what he had for the sake of Allah. Such harm, imprisonment and tortured by the oppressors of the regime’s security devices in Jordan didn’t break his will yet he was not discouraged; he trusted in Allah (swt) and was reassured of His justice and that Allah is aware of what he did and what the oppressors committed. We ask Allah, the Most Merciful, to show wide mercy towards him, to make his abode the blissful gardens of Jannah with the Prophets, the Truthful Ones, the Martyrs, the Righteous and the best of their company. We also ask Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala to bestow us and his family with patience and solace, and to increase their reward.
﴿إِنَّا للهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ﴾
“Verily to Allah do we belong and verily to Allah do we return.” [Al-Baqarah: 156]
