Obituary of a Daw’ah Carrier in Syria: Mustafa Ahmad Eid (Abu Ahmad)
“Among the believers are men true to what they promised Allah. Among them is he who has fulfilled his vow [to the death], and among them is he who awaits [his chance], and they did not alter [the terms of their commitment] by any alteration.” [Al-Ahzaab: 23]
Hizb ut Tahrir Wilayah Syria mourns to the Islamic Ummah in general and to the people of Ash-Sham, in particular, one of its sincere Shabab – though we do not ascribe purity to anyone before Allah (swt):
The Shab Mustafa Ahmad Eid (Abu Ahmad)
who has gone to the Sublime Companion (Ar-Rafiq al-A’la) on Tuesday morning, 16/1/2018; at the age of forty-eight years; spent in obedience to Allah (swt) after suffering from severe illness. His illness did not prevent him from carrying out the Dawah with Hizb ut Tahrir to resume the Islamic way of life, where he encountered in the sake of that harm and arrest. He was arrested in 1999 by the tyrant the father (Hafez Assad). He was arrested again in 2006 by the tyrant the son (Bashar). He was not discouraged from arrest or illness, from continuing carrying the Dawah with Hizb ut Tahrir to establish the Khilafah Rashidah (righteous Caliphate) on the method of the Prophethood. He was firm like the unshakable mountains in steadfastness; courageously spoke the word of Truth, not fearing the blame of any blamers for the sake of Allah (swt), patient and sought his reward with Allah (swt).
We ask Allah to have mercy upon him, make his abode a noble one and gather him with:
“With the ones upon whom Allah has bestowed favor of the prophets, the steadfast affirmers of truth, the martyrs and the righteous. And excellent are those as companions.”
And we do not say except that which is pleasing to our Lord:
“Verily to Allah do we belong and verily to Allah do we return” [Al-Baqarah: 156].
