Campaign Launch: “By the Rope of Allah, not the Ropes of the West”

We are in the situation where the disbelieving (Kufr) West is still attempting to abort the blessed revolution of Shaam, in one attempt following another, whilst using every style and means. A recent but not last of these attempts is what took place in the shameful and disgraceful conference, the Riyadh Conference. Within it, efforts were made to entrap the people of ash-Shaam within its ropes and to gather the factions and unify them behind a lackey political leadership comprising of the National Coalition and other groups manufactured with America’s knowledge. This is to undergo negotiations that will transfer the authority to a new agent and install secularism as the state regime in Shaam the abode of Islam. This conference was held in tandem with truces being handled by America in the regime’s favour which were made between it and some of the armed opposition groups… On 11/12/2015 Hizb ut Tahrir issued a leaflet about these events under the heading: “Two Prevalent Evils Bound Together “Truces” inside Syria and Saudi Negotiations Abroad!” mentioned the following, “One who scrutinizes the developments of the truces and negotiations finds that they are a product of malevolent malicious schemes against Ash-Sham, the Abode of Islam, whose threads are weaved by the countries of the East and West, led by America who is spiteful against Islam and Muslims, and those who provide them with those threads are the agents and tools from the tyrant regime and its collaborators and the agent rulers in the neighboring countries, and some of the political and military opposition spectra that hide under the cover of resistance to the tyrant so they compromise with him”. It was also mentioned: “Looking deeply into the conference’s backgrounds and reasons to take place, it turns out that after the United States has failed to make its creations from the moderate or modified coalition and factions find acceptance from the people of Syria, so that it finds an alternative agent that will succeed the current agent, it proceeded to seek the help of the tyrant in the pure land, thinking that he could succeed in that which it has failed in, because he has the funding and deception.”

This is where they used the terminology of ‘Unifying the opposition and holding firm’ many times as representing the demand of the factions and the Muslims in the land of ash-Sham, making it the aim for the conference, making unity for the sake of calling for unity, without clarifying what they will be unifying upon and what matter they want to hold firmly upon. And if they were to have made it clear, they would have said that we want the unity to be for the sake of fighting the project of the return of Islam to the ruling and that we want to fight the Muslims to fight against this objective with their own hands… For all of this, we in Hizb ut Tahrir in Wilayah Syria announce the launching of a campaign under the heading: “By the Rope of Allah, not the Ropes of the West”. This is in order to present clear points and to make evident that the preservation and holding firm cannot take place except upon that which pleases Allah Almighty and not upon that which pleases the West, and that will not happen except upon the project of the rightly guided Khilafah which the Messenger of Allah (saw) gave glad tidings of its return whilst it cannot take place upon the project for a civil democratic state which the Kufr West wishes to impose upon us. And we call all the sincere to reject any unifying or holding firm upon other than the rope of Allah and to cut all the ropes of the Kufr West and its agents. The Almighty said:

وَاعْتَصِمُوا بِحَبْلِ اللَّهِ جَمِيعًا وَلَا تَفَرَّقُوا…

“And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided.” [Al-i-Imran: 103]
