Hundreds call to Save Pakistan from America, Terror & Zardari Gilani regime
They explained that Hizb ut-Tahrir in Pakistan had been leading the opposition to the American plan and the complicity of the Zardari-Gillani regime. The Hizb have severely accounted the Zardari’s government for allowing US military – and paramilitary organisations like Dyncorp and Blackwater – from creating terror in cities in Pakistan as well as the launch of the second war in South Waziristan by the Zardari regime.
They reminded those gathered that yesterday’s attack in Rawalpindi, like the attack on the Islamic University in Islamabad, was further proof of a foreign hand in these operations, and reminded people of similar American actions in Iraq and even in Central America in the past.
Following this, the demonstration was addressed by a Pakistani Community leader in London, Mr Mushtaq Raja. He reminded people the purpose for which Pakistan was established and for which hundreds of thousands of men women and children sacrificed their blood was to establish an Islamic State in 1947, but that since that time the ‘jagidars’ and elite had exploited the wealth of Pakistan for themselves. He said they cared nothing for the pain of the ordinary people, who cannot afford flour and sugar, and go for hours without electricity. He called for all Muslims to support the work of Hizb ut-Tahrir and the call for Khilafah which was the need of the time in Pakistan and whole Muslim world.
Mr Rizwan Hussain a Muslim from Pakistan who lives in West London addressed the demonstration in Urdu, saying that Muslims did not need to rely on the £7.5 billion offered to Pakistan in the Kerry Lugar-bill which came with conditions. They only needed to rely on Allah Subhanahu wata’ala, who had given a guidance for humanity to live and to solve problems by. Hizb ut-Tahrir was calling for this same guidance to solve these many problems according to Quran and Sunnah, in the form of the Islamic Khilafat. He said he had studied the detailed plans that Hizb ut-Tahrir had put forward regarding economy, industrialisation and governance and urged others to look at these.
The demonstration concluded by Taji Mustafa media spokesman for Hizb ut-Tahrir in Britain saying that unless Pakistan had a new system and new leadership different to the betrayal seen under democracy and dictatorship alike, we would see yet more treachery in the future. He said Pakistan could never be saved by Zardari, Gillani, Nawaz Sharif or Musharraf – or anyone who continued to sell the country to America – and he called for all those of power and influence to support Hizb ut-Tahrir to establish the Khilafah, so that Pakistan can be rid from America and the terror it has brought since 2001. He said Hizb ut-Tahrir in the UK had held many activities for this campaign in local communities, and would be organising more. He called upon the Muslims present to exhaust their efforts to carry this message: to “Save Pakistan – Zardari has to go!” and that Khilafah was the only means to do this and to raise the flag of La illaha illa Allah high.
The peaceful demonstration ended with dua for the people of Pakistan and the Muslim Ummah.
