Press Release
Protesters then marched from the Khalid al-Walid Mosque to Mindef while chanting “Allahu Akbar” along the way. Upon arriving at Mindef, Ustaz Abdul Hakim Othman as the spokesman of Hizb ut Tahrir / Malaysia asked to meet the Chief of ATM or his representative in order to submit a memorandum. While waiting, Abdul Hakim delivered an emphatic call for ATM to wage jihad in Gaza since this is the main duty of army to fight in the course of Allah and the time has come for them to do so whilst Muslims are being massacred by the Zionist la’natullah alaihim.
After 15 minutes, it appears that no one came to receive the memorandum. Hizb finally decided to give it to the officer in charge at the guardhouse to be handed over to the Chief of ATM. Hizb expresses regret and disappointment with the reaction shown by ATM despite the fact that Hizb was initially informed that the representative was on his way to accept the memorandum.
Nonetheless Hizb prays that Allah (swt) open the hearts of the Malaysian Armed Forces and other Muslim armies across the world to fight in Gaza immediately and save our brothers and sisters who are massacred there and in turn freeing the Blessed Land of Palestine.
Hizb ut Tahrir has been working day and night since 1953 to resume the Islamic way of life and re-establish Khilafah Islamiyyah which shall very soon be in front of our eyes and the Khaleefah will immediately declare jihad to liberate the land of Palestine that we love most and also other Muslim lands from the domination of the Kuffar.
