A Delegation of Members from Hizb ut Tahrir in the Netherlands visited the Pakistani Embassy in The Hague
(Translated)
On Wednesday, 13/4/2016, a delegation of members from Hizb ut Tahrir in the Netherlands visited the Pakistani Embassy in The Hague. This visit is part of a global campaign by Hizb ut Tahrir to confront the Pakistani government’s relentless campaign against its members in Pakistan.
The delegation was received by the personal assistant to the Pakistani ambassador Sharif Khan. The discussion with Mr. Khan was about the suffering of members of Hizb ut Tahrir in Pakistan, the delegation then handed him a memorandum issued by Hizb ut Tahrir in Pakistan with a list of names of all the party’s members who were arrested and who were kidnapped by the Pakistani government, as there are some brothers who have been abducted by Pakistani security forces for years and no one knows anything about them until this moment.
The delegation explained to Mr. Khan that Hizb ut Tahrir calls to Islam with a method that is furthest away from violence, and that the party works in all Muslim countries in order to establish the Khilafah (Caliphate) on the method of Prophethood, which will implement the whole of Islam over the Muslims. The delegation explained that the problems plaguing Pakistan and other Muslim countries are due to the non-application of Islam and because of the intimate relations with the West.
The delegation called on the Pakistani government to release immediately all members of Hizb ut Tahrir, especially since the charges against them are unfounded, and that what the government is carrying out is in fact a war on the call to Allah.
