Changes in School Text Books on American Instructions

Changes in School Text Books are to Misguide Muslim Children Regarding Right and Wrong and Islamic History

Hizb ut Tahrir Wilayah Pakistan strongly condemns the Raheel-Nawaz regime’s approval of changes according to American dictates in school text books. On 17th April 2016, a number of newspapers reported the comment of Pakistan’s ambassador to Washington regarding the report of the US Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF), entitled “Teaching Intolerance in Pakistan”. The Ambassador said that the “majority of examples of religious intolerance found in 2011 textbooks had been removed”. This report was released at the National Press Club in Washington on 13th April 2016. It urged Pakistan to reconsider its education policy and stop teaching material that creates hatred.

After the defeat of communism intellectually and politically, the Western World, led by America, has made Islam and Muslims as their prime target. This is because they know that until they have eradicated Islamic thinking within Muslims, they can never succeed in the endeavor to convince the humanity that all other ideologies have been failed and only the capitalist ideology solves man’s problem and that it is the only universal civilization. In order to achieve this objective they are making changes in text books throughout the Muslim World, so that the next generation of Muslims, in comparison to the current one, would see the Western civilization as the only universal civilization. On 3rd May 2002, the then US Deputy Secretary of Defense, Paul Wolfowitz, said, “There is a dangerous gap between the West and the Muslim world and we must bridge this gap”. The changes have been made in the text books of Pakistan are practical measures for fulfilling this purpose.

The West and America are worried that the children of Pakistan consider Islam as the identity of Pakistan and this concern is mentioned on page 6 of this USCIRF report. The West and America are worried that the children of Pakistan consider Jihad as the pillar of Islam, an obligation and Islamic method to establish the superiority of Islam in the whole world and those men as heroes who have rendered their services to accomplish this obligation. This apprehension has been made clear in this report on page 7. The West and America are worried that the children of Pakistan consider India as their enemy and want to accomplish the glad tidings described by the Messenger of Allah (saw) with regards to the Conquest of Hind.

The Raheel-Nawaz regime has extended full cooperation to America and is supporting changes to education according to its dictates in order to make our coming generations subservient to America. Parents and teachers must ask as to how can America ever be an authority as to what can and cannot be taught of Islam to the Muslim children of Pakistan. It has been made clear that whether its military dictatorship or political democracy, both work to establish American hegemony. The time has come that we establish the Khilafah (Caliphate) upon the method of the Prophethood in order to make our coming generations as Islamic personalities, equipped completely with the Islamic thought. The Khilafah will establish an education policy which will once again produce Islamic personalities, as in the times of the Sahaba (ra) and Tabaeen. And if we allow this Kufr system and dictates of Kuffar to continue, then the misguidance of our children is on our necks.

“O you who believe! If you obey those who disbelieve, they will send you back on your heels, and you will turn back (from Faith) as losers” [Al-i- Imran: 149]
