In the recent press release by the government of Afghanistan mentioned that “Afghanistan and its people have historic and religious relations with Saudi Arabia and considers defending the Holy land of Al-Haramain Sharifain as the prime duty of every Muslim. Therefore, in case of any threat Afghanistan and its people will stand shoulder to shoulder with Saudi Arabia and our Saudi brothers, with all our strength, to defend the sanctity of the Holy Land.”

All this is said in a situation where Al-Haramain Sharifain are not facing any direct threat. By offering support for this war of Fitnah that is fought under the guise of “Protecting the Haramain Sharifain” the government of Afghanistan seeks to legitimize the U.S. made “National Unity Government” and to somehow legitimize secular Democracy and present its government as Islamic. On the other hand, by such devious moves the government is trying to turn the negative public opinion in its favor.

We all know that a few decades ago Masjid-e-Aqsa, the first Qibla of the Muslim Ummah, was occupied by the Jews, isn’t Al Aqsa a Holy Masjid as well? Isn’t the land of the Prophets, Palestine a worthy place for intervention as well? Moreover, for the last few years thousands of Muslims in Syria are being murdered by the oppressive and barbaric forces of Bashar Al-Assad, Hezbollah, Iran and Iraq, who every day are calling for support and help, yet none of these traitor rulers have ever helped them or mobilized their Armies to liberate them from the severe oppression and cruelty. The question that needs to be asked is what happened today that shacked all these puppet regimes to march towards Yemen?

The painful situation in Yemen is ostensibly the war for the regional dominance between Saudi Arabia and Iran and the conflict between Sunnis and Shias but in reality it is the colonial power struggle between America and Britain who are using both Saudi and Iran to attain their evil aims of dominating Yemen.  

Hence Afghanistan’s support to this war is nothing but following the commands of its Master (US) and to help them in getting what they have strategized for, which are to increase the U.S. influence in Yemen, to create and inflame the sectarian rift to create division and to massacre as many Muslims as possible.
