Gulshan Attack: Hizb ut Tahrir Calls upon the People to Stand against the Planned Campaign to Defame Islam and the Islamic Political Work
Hizb ut Tahrir, Wilayah Bangladesh, strongly condemns this criminal attack which claimed the lives of almost 30 people. This type of mindless killing has nothing to with Islam. Allah (swt) says,
مِنْ أَجْلِ ذَلِكَ كَتَبْنَا عَلَى بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ أَنَّهُ مَنْ قَتَلَ نَفْسًا بِغَيْرِ نَفْسٍ أَوْ فَسَادٍ فِي الأَرْضِ فَكَأَنَّمَا قَتَلَ النَّاسَ جَمِيعًا وَمَنْ أَحْيَاهَا فَكَأَنَّمَا أَحْيَا النَّاسَ جَمِيعًا
“Because of that, We ordained for the Children of Israel that if anyone killed a person not in retaliation of murder, or (and) to spread mischief in the land – it would be as if he killed all mankind, and if anyone saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of all of mankind.” [Surah Al-Ma’idah: 32]
This attack is in fact part of a planned campaign against Islam. The obvious aim of this attack (along with the on-going covert killing operations) is to defame Islam and the truthful Islamic political work for establishing the Khilafah (Caliphate) in the country. The enemies of Islam – crusader America and her imperialist allies – are witnessing and are fearful of the tremendous and increasingly stronger demand for Islamic rule (Khilafah) among the Muslims of this country. This is why we see America (and her allies) determined and persistent to push forward their claim of the presence of ISIS in the country after every such attack; the covert killings which have been going on for months were preparing the background for this larger scale attack. They wish to link Islam and the Islamic rule with mindless violence and the ISIS which has gained global notoriety for savagery and brutality.
By this concerted campaign the enemies of Islam want to turn the tide through creating a negative public opinion towards Islamic rule and the work for establishing the Khilafah. They want to create panic in the society and instil fear among the people in order to subdue the demand for Islam and keep the people away from the Islamic political work. They want to gain licence for themselves and their agent regime to conduct their War against Islam through baseless media propaganda and repressive “legal and security” measures against the workers of Islam in order to create obstacles in the way of the Islamic dawah, to make the Islamic work harder and slow down the pace of the work… These attacks also allow for even more meddling in the affairs of the country and facilitate even deeper penetration by America and her allies inside our military, intelligence and security agencies to fight the Islamic Call. That is why we see that after each attack the Americans (and their allies) meet with officials of the Home Ministry and other government departments and security agencies to gain more and more concessions out of this subservient regime on so-called issues of anti-terror and security cooperation. And this is heading towards one pre-defined end which we have seen all over the world – overt presence of their security personnel and unfettered movement of their overt and covert operatives to create further mayhem.
O Muslims! O the Sincere, Aware and Thinking People!
Crusader America and her allies are executing a dangerous campaign against your Deen. We have seen how they destroyed Iraq through orchestrated sectarian violence. We are seeing how they are creating mayhem and bloodshed across Pakistan. We are seeing how with the presence of ISIS they are supporting the butcher of Syria, Bashar al Assad and are fighting the peoples’ revolt there who are demanding for the Khilafah; when the people of Syria united against Bashar to remove him and establish the Khilafah, the ISIS emerged and then it declared itself as the Khilafah which is not recognized by the Shari’ah and it has become a tool to defame the Khilafah.
The regime of Hasina cannot face this imperialist plot against your Deen and the country. It rather sings to the tune of the imperialists due to its un-Islamic and secular foundation and uses these violent incidents to fight Islam. Sheikh Hasina in her address to the nation on 02 July (2016) already pointed her finger towards Islam and “youths brainwashed with religion” for the Gulshan Attack. And she made vague and generalized statements in her address about dealing with the danger the country is facing; how will establishing “anti-terror committees at the grassroots level” face the imperialist powers and their plots? Sheikh Hasina is deliberately being vague about the situation and the manner of dealing with it because she and her regime are subservient to America and her allies. They are spineless and lack the courage to boldly expose the imperialists and deal a blow to their plans. That is why she comes after Islam and the people in the name of anti-militancy drives.
The only way to the face the imperialists is to throw their plan back to them. They want you to turn your back to Islam by their concerted defamation campaign. So you need to be even more vigorous in your work and in your demand for Islam and the Khilafah. And establish the Khilafah in the country which can throw out these plotters from the country and end the mayhem and bloodshed.
The Khilafah is not a state of terror. It is a state for the people, for Muslims and non-Muslims, and it looks after them. It does not oppress the people and does not make their lives a misery. It does not rule the people by force or by instilling fear in them, does not alienate the people; rather it brings them closer to it and rules with the choice and consent of the people. The Khilafah spreads the justice of Islam in the land; it is a state of mercy for mankind,
وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ إِلاَّ رَحْمَةً لِلْعَالَمِينَ
“And We have sent you not but as mercy for mankind” [Surah Al-Anbiya: 107].
