How Effective Could be Afghanistan’s Protection and Stability Council?

A council under the title of Afghanistan’s Protection and Stability Council with participation of several previous Jihadi leaders claimed its existence yesterday. It is worth mentioning that when Ashraf Ghani’s government came into play, it caused most people and renowned figures to lose their influence by drafting explicit strategies and plans. Protection and stability of Afghanistan which were explained as the core-objective of establishing this gathering, indeed will not be granted to the Muslim people of Afghanistan through Democratic ways of election and Loya Jirga (Large Gathering). It is necessary that Islamic method (Sharia) has to be considered for achieving the above mentioned goals, because it is obliged for the fighters of Islam that their attempts must be achieving Islam and Islamic ways of life.

The Mujahidin (Jihadi figures) owns the support of massive number of Muslim people in Afghanistan. If Mujahidin reinforces the call for Caliphate and Islam based on the Prophet’s Method (saw) in preference to Democracy, then a huge mass of the Muslim people will come together towards this important way. And if this power and influence are utilized in support of Democracy as well as individual and collective way of getting power, what will be their response before Allah on the doomsday?

مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ رِجَالٌ صَدَقُوا مَا عَاهَدُوا اللَّهَ عَلَيْهِ فَمِنْهُم مَّن قَضَى نَحْبَهُ وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَنتَظِرُ وَ مَا بَدَّلُوا تَبْدِيلًا

“From believers are the men who abide the commitment they had pledged with Allah. Most of them lost their lives upon that and some are looking forward to it and have not changed their promise.” [Al Ahzab: 23]
