Racism and Sectarianism Kill Their Own People

The political discourse has recently inclined in Lebanon following the report of the Secretary General of the United Nations Ban Ki-moon, in which he called on giving a “Lebanese citizenship” to our families and our brothers who have become displaced after fleeing the criminality of the regime of Bashar and his mercenaries in Syria. The Lebanese Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil presided the political scene has in a racist and sectarian attempt to highlight himself and his party as if they were the protectors of the “Christians of the Middle East.”
A few days earlier, his leader, Michel Aoun, peered in Jounieh to mobilize his supporters in the municipal elections there, and to announce that the city is the “capital of the Christians!” All this happens while some Muslim leaders compete against each other promising false assurances to the people of denominations, under titles of “parity” and “moderation” and the like.
Following Bassil’s comments, the boss in Lebanon, Jones, who is the charge d’affaires of the US Embassy, clarified that what is intended in the report of Ban Ki-moon is to give nationalities from countries other than Lebanon!
We are not – as we mention this – oblivious to the fact that Ban’s report and Jones’ announcement indicate that there is a scheme aimed at emptying Syria of millions of Muslims who fled it, to outweigh the minorities’ demography in it, in order to maintain the sectarian entity who is the guarantor of the American interests in Al-Sham.
The situation in Lebanon has reached a point where the major crisis and the hub for any basic political reality in the country lie in “the rights of Christians”. This is a very dangerous trend, which falls under the racial discrimination and sectarian line-up, promoting the division of the people of Al-Sham generally, and the people of Lebanon in particular. A trend which kills its own people, placing them in a battle which they neither own any of its components nor control over it, but is controlled by the Western colonialists, headed by America.
The displaced people are our people and our brothers in Islam, their blood is our blood and their honor is our honor. Lebanon is a Muslim country, whether they like it or not. And the false assurances that the Muslim leaders keep repeating tirelessly, squandering the rights of Muslims to the expense of others, only reflects the foolishness of these leaders, and the general Muslims are far from it.
The region of Al-Sham and the Muslim lands are destined to unite as one land, it is only a matter of time; the current situation and since the fall of the Khilafah (Caliphate) in 1924, is an exceptional situation no matter how long it lasts. For indeed, the origin of the region and its destiny is to be united under one banner, in the confines of a single state, the State of the Khilafah (Caliphate) on the method of the Prophethood.
