U.N. Rapes of Children in the Central African Republic Go Unpunished!
A secret United Nations report was leaked this week. It revealed that French U.N. Peacekeepers have raped 10 to 12 minors from the destitute children in the Central African Republic between December 2013 and June 2014. After the report was completed, the U.N. suppressed it and did nothing to stop the crimes that were described in the report, and it did not bring the perpetrators to justice. Just recently the report was exposed after Paula Donovan of “AIDS-Free World” sent it to The Guardian Newspaper, and that followed its initial leaking to French authorities that resulted in no action at the moment. The sexual crimes were shocking enough, but the suspension of the U.N. staffer, Anders Kompass, who first leaked the report, adds insult to injury because no action was taken against the accused soldiers despite very detailed descriptions having been provided more than a year ago.
The U.N. mandate gave a blanket cover for France to secure its interests in the Central African Republic, at a time when Muslims were being subjected to terrorism and ethnic cleansing. The burning, torture and butchery in that country was so savage that it even reached the extent of cannibalism against Muslim victims. Despite all of that, the role of the French “Peacekeepers” was adverse. It seems that they were not only satisfying their government’s desires for the country under the pretense of peacekeeping, but some, also, were satisfying their own private lusts and perversions.
The boys who were subjected to rape and abuse were under U.N. protection at a camp for displaced people at Bangui International Airport, in the capital of the Central African Republic, when these abuses were taking place from the very first days of the French deployment. It seems that these child-abusers under the cover of the U.N. apparently wasted no time, which is indeed a stamp of disgrace on the UN leadership! They took starving, homeless boys who were exposed to psychological trauma into their barracks and sent them out with little meals in exchange for their innocence. The U.N. claims that it is a moral authority in the protection of women and children in the world, and yet wherever it goes the reports of child abuse, prostitution rings, sex slavery, human trafficking and the like follow it.
These horrible crimes in Central Africa are not the first of its kind; we have not forgotten the cold-blooded massacre of Muslims in Srebrenica-Bosnia under the eyes and noses of the “Peacekeepers” belonging to the United Nations.
Muslims must reject the U.N. and the major countries that sponsor and control it. Allah (swt) says, يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَتَّخِذُوا الْيَهُودَ وَالنَّصَارَىٰ أَوْلِيَاءَ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَاءُ بَعْضٍ وَمَن يَتَوَلَّهُم مِّنكُمْ فَإِنَّهُ مِنْهُمْ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الظَّالِمِينَ “O you who believe! Do not take the Jews and the Christians as allies. Some of them are allies to others. And whoever takes them as allies among you, then indeed, he is of them. Indeed, Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people.” [Al-Ma’ida: 51]
Those that come under its umbrella are corrupted, and they are “of them”, as Allah Almighty said in His Holy Book. This includes the armies of the Muslims. They were amongst those involved in the types of abuses that occurred against the children in the Central African Republic that included three Pakistani “peacekeepers” serving in Haiti who were convicted in 2012 for abusing a 14-year-old boy.
Oh Muslims, it is unacceptable to remain silent over the submission of your affairs in the hands of your enemies, the time has come to recognize that only the Khilafah Rashidah State on the method of the Prophethood will defend the Honour of our Ummah and safeguard our nation. The Prophet (saw) said, «إنما الإمام جنة يقاتل من ورائه ويتقى به» “The Imam is but a shield who is fought from behind and protected by.”
