وَلَا تَنَازَعُوا فَتَفْشَلُوا وَتَذْهَبَ رِيحُكُمْ
“And do not dispute (with one another) lest you fail and your strength depart”
(Translated)
There have been consecutive reports of the news of fighting taking place between Jaish ul-Islam on one side and Faliq Ar-Rahman and Jaish ul-Fustat on the other side in East Ghouta. That was the natural result of charging the groups against other and the thinking of each group to impose its authority over the liberated regions whilst degrading that with the blood of their brothers and using all types of excuses and justifications for that. It is also due to the sons of the Ummah refraining from undertaking their obligation to command the Ma’rouf (good) and forbid the Munkar (evil) and due to their silence to the errors that took place previously.
We are not here taking the position to say that one group is wrong whilst the other is right. Rather, we are reminding everyone of the inviolable sanctity of the blood of our sons and brothers that is being spilt in that which angers Allah, weakens the ranks of the Muslims and delights the enemies who lie in wait for all of us, not distinguishing between one group and another or between one fighter and the next. Allah Ta’Aalaa said:
وَمَنْ يَقْتُلْ مُؤْمِنًا مُتَعَمِّدًا فَجَزَاؤُهُ جَهَنَّمُ خَالِدًا فِيهَا وَغَضِبَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَلَعَنَهُ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُ عَذَابًا عَظِيمًا
“And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell to abide therein, and the Wrath and the Curse of Allah are upon him, and a great punishment is prepared for him” [An-Nisaa’: 93].
And the Messenger of Allah (saw) said:
إذا التقى المسلمان بسيفيهما فالقاتل والمقتول في النار
“If two Muslims meet each other with their swords then the killer and the killed are in the fire”.
So how can you make the blood of each other permissible and forget the threat of punishment of our Lord whilst we are heedless or make each other heedless of the criminal enemies that are having a free for all against us and have united upon their falsehood and tyranny to fight against us and eliminate us. That is whilst we are fighting amongst ourselves, spilling our blood, depleting our energies and bringing delight to our enemies and facilitating them over our sanctities and honours?!
Should not the crimes of Bashar and those who assist him in addition to their sieges and horrific massacres taking place in all of the liberated regions, push us to put aside our differences and resolve them through the Shar’i paths, by reconciliation, holding on to the firm principles of our revolution and being united upon a single project and single objective. That is the downfall of the tyrant regime with all of its pillars and symbols, and establishing in its place the Hukm of Allah via the rightly guided Khilafah State (Caliphate) upon the methodology of the Prophethood. By that we will be pleasing our Lord, so He will reconcile between our hearts just as He reconciled between the hearts of the Ansar (helpers) of His Messenger (saw) from the Aws and the Khazraj?!
O Muslims in Ash-Shaam the abode of Islam (Uqr Daar il-Islam)
We, your brothers in Hizb ut Tahrir, warn you that the struggle in the land of Ash-Shaam, Uqr Daar il-Islam, must be between two camps alone which has no third camp. There is the camp of Iman (belief) that has no hypocrisy within it and the camp of Kufr which has no Iman in it. So let us hold firmly to the rope of Allah, take the side of the camp of Iman and undertake that which Allah has made obligatory upon us in terms of supporting His Deen. Let us do that by unifying upon supporting the project of the Khilafah upon the methodology of the Prophethood and by accounting those who go against His command and are attempting to pierce a whole in our ship so that we all sink and drown together. Allah (swt) said:
وَاتَّقُوا فِتْنَةً لَا تُصِيبَنَّ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا مِنْكُمْ خَاصَّةً وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللَّهَ شَدِيدُ الْعِقَاب
“And fear the Fitnah (affliction and trial, etc.) which affects not in particular (only) those of you who do wrong (but it may afflict all the good and the bad people), and know that Allah is Severe in punishment” [Al-Anfaal: 25].
We must cut the ropes and links to the disbeliever states, reject their political solutions, their truces of Fitnah and deceit and then head all of us together to bring down the head of the snake in Damascus. That alone represents our path to salvation, regaining our honour and attaining victory. Allah (swt) said:
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آَمَنُوا اسْتَجِيبُوا لِلَّهِ وَلِلرَّسُولِ إِذَا دَعَاكُمْ لِمَا يُحْيِيكُمْ وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللَّهَ يَحُولُ بَيْنَ الْمَرْءِ وَقَلْبِهِ وَأَنَّهُ إِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ
“O you who believe! Answer Allah and (His) Messenger when he (SAW) calls you to that which will give you life, and know that Allah comes in between a person and his heart. And verily to Him you shall (all) be gathered” [Al-Anfaal: 24]
