Large numbers attend Birmingham Iftar gathering

altMany men, women and children attended the iftar gathering organised by members of Hizb ut-Tahrir in the midlands.

Following a beatiful recitation of the Qur’an, Taji Mustafa spoke about the need to change our attitude towards the Qur’an by taking it as a complete source of guidance from Allah (swt) and not to selectively apply parts of it whilst neglecting other parts. After maghrib salat, an iftar meal was shared by all, alhamdulillah. May Allah (swt) accept our siyam and qiyam and free us from the fire.
