Dua orang syabab Hizbut Tahrir ditahan reman kerana edar risalah dakwah

Press Release

Two Shabab of Hizb ut Tahrir were Remanded for Distributing Da’wah Leaflets

On 20/05/2016 two Shabab of Hizb ut Tahrir / Malaysia (HTM) were arrested by the Royal Malaysia Police (RMP) while distributing the weekly leaflet, Sautun Nahdhah. Ustaz Darukhutni Zainal Abidin, 49, and Mohamad Alhafiq Mohamad Khoiruddin, 25, were arrested outside of Masjid Nurul Iman, Serendah, at about 2.05 pm, was taken to the Serendah Police Station for interrogation. They were later detained at the Hulu Selangor Police District Headquarters, before being brought to court the next day and were remanded for four days. On Saturday (21/05/2016) HTM’s delegation led by Br. Yusuf Muhammad attempted to meet both of them at the lockup, but were denied on the grounds that it was a public holiday and that the Investigating Officer (IO) and the Police Chief District were absent.

HTM hereby vehemently objects this arrest and we are indeed very disappointed with this action. It seems that RMP would rather tire themselves arresting sincere da’wah carriers than arresting criminals and wrongdoers in the country. The reality is that RMP already has so many unresolved criminal cases – murders, kidnappings, robberies, theft, drug related offenses, illegal racing, prostitution, corruption, misappropriation and many more – from the street level, up to the national leadership’s level and these crimes are ever increasing! There are also vice activities that are not acted upon by the police, in fact these activities are fully safeguarded! This is not taking into account the gambling industries, liquor factories, vice clubs and many other Shariah-contradicting activities which operate “lawfully” with licenses. The police never look into all these crimes and vices seriously and effectively, but instead, they laboriously monitor and arrest the Shabab of Hizb ut Tahrir who are working towards eradicating all crimes and vices through the implementation of Shariah under the Righteous State of Khilafah (Caliphate) upon the method of the Prophethood.

O RMP! Take note that the arrest of our Shabab will never weaken our effort nor our spirit, not even slightly, in working towards removing the existing evils, Kufr systems and laws and replacing them with the Shariah and Khilafah. In fact, this further strengthens our commitment and belief in Allah (swt) and that the victory of Islam, as He has promised, is undoubtedly imminent.

O RMP! Fear Allah (swt) for what you are doing. You have indeed detained His da’wah carriers, and you have deliberately invoked the wrath of Allah (swt) and the curse of the occupants of heaven and earth! Release our Shabab from any charge and seek forgiveness from Allah (swt) for your violation of His divine law in detaining sincere da’wah carriers of Hizb ut Tahrir, who are working towards upholding His Deen, which is also for you own good.
