Channel of Fitnah named Aljadeed Channel Mocks Islam, its Followers and their Prophet (saw) amidst Political and Media Silence and a Receding ‘Timidity’

Aljadeed TV Channel has joined the club of those who mock Islam and the Prophet of Islam Sayiduna Muhammad peace and blessings be upon him. We have looked into episode of the satire programme ChiNN aired on 22/12/2015 and broadcasted by the channel, containing words and expressions, to say the least were flagrant ill-mannered in respect to the Muslims and their Honourable Prophet peace and blessings be upon him and his family. Indeed, it included crude and surly acting from the jesting hosts whilst others came with junk coming up with expressions and words related specifically to Muslims as the object of mockery and ridicule. Even further, they mentioned the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, by his name alone without including any sense of honour, respect or sanctity whilst making him the object of jokes and ridicule!

This in the case where we know that this programme has not brought something new in respect to the channel policy that has become well-known in Lebanon with its inflammatory policy that actively seeks ruin in order to build its media material upon, to make a hue and cry about it, in attempts to ignite the flames of discord. It is a channel that we don’t see anything from it apart from identifying with every reality hypocritically. So if the situation was about Syrians then it would be Syrian, if it was Lebanese then it would be Lebanese, if it was security then it would be security and if it was war against Islam and describing it as terrorism then it would be a war against Islam accompanied by derision. It is as if the channel, after seeing that its position had been falling within the media market, believed that by being hostile towards Islam, its adherents and its Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, that they would climb in position before their masters who combatting “terrorism” with America at the head and the West to grab their attention and raise their rank to their masters by overstepping the bounds of every sanctified matter and even every custom and tradition… The one who follows this channel’s programmes will see that it no longer holds any value or appreciation for anything, as every matter for those responsible is deemed acceptable and open to discussion and rebuked, even if it is a Deen or belief.

O Media Ministry and every media representative in Lebanon, is not your silence and inaction from taking any measures towards these actions, not counted as being an acceptance to them. Indeed rather, does it not represent disdain and contempt towards the Muslims in a land from among the Muslim lands, Lebanon… So where is your stance and your measures or is it that the followers of Islam in Lebanon do not hold any value?!!

Then to those who are being degraded by this policy from amongst the sons of the Ummah. What is wrong with you that we don’t hear your voice and not even a whisper in respect to that which relates to the beliefs of the Muslims and their Deen, or is it abhorrent secularism that you are carrying as it seems that it has certainly mesmerized you and even in respect to the inviolable sanctities of Islam! You are no longer being represented by those whom you appointed yourselves to represent you in respect to war, money and inheritance! Indeed, it is as if you have come even closer to the representation of those who are hostile to Islam, its Prophet and its adherents!!! Nevertheless, this call falls upon deaf ears.

Some from amongst them in their foolishness, others with their poor estimation and some with their disdain, have assumed that the ‘ceiling’ (level of standards) of the Muslims in Lebanon is low and that it is possible to aggress against the walls of the Muslims with every form of defamation and sinful slander and thereafter you will not find anyone who will respond or deter that apart from a few soft composed words, like breakdown of civil peace, a threat to co-existence and the concept of media freedom…

We say to them, your expectations have been let down and your hopes have been dashed because there are still within Lebanon people and men who stand for Islam and will not accept for their Deen and beliefs to be scathed by any insult or criticism. Even if he was a Faajir (disobedient in his conduct) from amongst the Muslims, he would not accept this aggression and indeed Allah will give victory to His Deen through the likes of these because their Deen is dear to them irrespective of how far one of them has distanced himself in terms of his acts of worship and his Taqwa. That is in line with the Hadeeth of the Messenger of Allah (saw):

«إن الله ليؤيد هذا الدين بالرجل الفاجر»

“Verily Allah will support the Deen by the Faajir (man).”

So what is the case if this Deen has men who possess Taqwa and are pure in Lebanon who have sworn to guard Islam and indeed it represents the place of their heart and soul.

Back to the beginning, al-Jadeed Channel, with your entire crew, from your highest to your lowest positions, there is nothing left for you after this vice except to openly apologise and to do that explicitly to all of the Muslims in Lebanon. Otherwise you are making enemies with all of the Muslims and opening the doors to hostility of a broad section of the Lebanese that you will have no power to stand against. Indeed, you are the most in need of the people’s support especially at this time from reaching eroding media practise. And know that what is passing over the Muslims in Lebanon and other places is no more than the summer clouds and will not remain long until they disperse. So know that your days are numbered before that day in which Allah will provide honour to Islam and the Muslims in Lebanon and the world, a day in which regret will be too late…

… فَعَسَى اللَّهُ أَن يَأْتِيَ بِالْفَتْحِ أَوْ أَمْرٍ مِّنْ عِندِهِ فَيُصْبِحُوا عَلَىٰ مَا أَسَرُّوا فِي أَنفُسِهِمْ نَادِمِين

“But perhaps Allah will bring conquest or a decision from Him, and they will become, over what they have been concealing within themselves, regretful” [Al-Ma’idah: 52].
