Instead of Supporting the Muslims in Halab (Aleppo)

The Regime’s Security Apparatus in Jordan Arrests those Calling to Support them!!

Yesterday night, 6/05/2016, the Jordanian regime’s security apparatus arrested two members of Hizb ut Tahrir – Brother ‘Umar Faalih At-Tal, who is 70 years old and suffers from very serious medical problems and Brother Ahmad Abdullah Abu Shihaab who is 67 years old after the ‘Ishaa prayer in the Saddam Hussein Masjid in the town of Al-Hisn. They were then presented before the public prosecutor this morning who ordered that they be held for 15 days and transferred them to the Internal Security Court despite its lack of jurisdiction.

In light of this arrest carried out by security apparatus and in light of the detention order handed down by the public prosecutor to two elderly men; two honourable men from amongst the honourable people of this land who are deeply concerned for the blood of the Muslims that is being shed in Halab and deeply concerned for their Deen, in light of that, we in Hizb ut Tahrir in the Wilayah of Jordan, hold the regime, its government, the public prosecutor who ordered their detention and the security apparatus that arrested them, responsible for their well-being and for the continuation of their detention. Similarly, we hold the regime responsible for shamefully and disgracefully abandoning providing support to the people of Halab (Aleppo) and Ash-Shaam in general. We also reaffirm to the Ummah that the acts of the repressive regime in Jordan in respect to arrests, imprisonment and harassment will not divert Hizb ut Tahrir and its Shabab from continuing to carry the Da’wah and expose the conspiracies hatched against Islam and the Muslims.

The Jordanian regime should be ashamed of their actions and feel disgraced before Allah, His Messenger and the believers. And instead of arresting the honourable men who are deeply attached and concerned for their Deen and the blood of the Muslims that is being spilt in Aleppo, instead of that you should allow the army fulfil its obligation towards their brothers and people in Aleppo and the rest of the lands of Ash-Shaam.
