On the night of 27th of Rajab Al-Fard, 1400 years ago, Allah (swt) made His servant Mohammed (saw) travel from the Grand Mosque, Al Masjid Al-Haram in Mecca to the Aqsa Mosque in the blessed land of Palestine in the night journey (Israa), and from there he (saw) ascended to Sidrat Al-Muntaha. This incident is the remarkable incident of Al-Israa wal Mi’raaj, which had an impact later in life of Al-Mustafa (saw) and his Ummah. It is worth mentioning, that on 28 of Rajab 1342 AH, that is, before 94 years ago, a painful incident befell this Ummah, where the colonialist Kafir was able to destroy the Islamic Ottoman State, which was based in Turkey. This was the greatest disasters, mother of crimes and calamities that hit Muslims in the entire world, including this country.

The Khilafah is the General Presidency for all Muslims in the world to establish the rules of Islam, and to carry the Islamic call to the world. The Khilafah was able throughout its history over 1300 years, to unify the Muslims under its authority, and implemented all the Shariah rules until the blessings and mercy encompassed not only the Muslims but the whole world.

The Sharia and Khilafah are inseparable like twins, what Imam Ghazali said in his book, Al-Iqtisad Fi Al I’tiqad, is true: where he described the relationship between the Khilafah and Shariah as: “The Deen is a foundation and the Sultan (authority) is a guard what does not have a foundation will crumble and what does not have a guard will be lost.” So Hizb ut Tahrir has consistently since its inception, showed the Muslims that the Khilafah is the cause of their Glory, and way for their revival and liberation; it seeks actively to make the Ummah aware of the obligation to work for the establishment of the Khilafah, and the sin of neglecting it, and since that time, and the party is working in the Ummah and with it to establish the second guided Khilafah on the method of Prophethood.

Throughout the month of May 2015 CE, corresponding to the month of Rajab 1436 AH, Hizb ut Tahrir / Indonesia will organize a number of major conferences and rallies in 36 cities in different parts of Indonesia, the main one will be in Jakarta. On 30 May a massive conference will be held in Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, followed by marches stretching in Thamrin Street in Jakarta; which is expected to attract 150 thousand participants from various segments of society, Allah willing. It will be titled: “Establish the Khilafah with the Ummah.”

The organization of these major conferences and marches are means to mobilize the Ummah to work with us to resume the Islamic way of life under the rightly guided Khilafah on the method of Prophethood. It is also to give confidence and hope to the Muslims to stand firm in face of the dangers posed to the country and people by the corrupt secularism and liberalism.

Hizb ut Tahrir confirms that the fall of the Khilafah was the cause of the calamities and adversaries that befell the Muslims, and that their revival and liberation is in the establishment of the rightly guided Khilafah on the method of Prophethood. The Khilafah alone can unite Muslims in the entire world, and implement all the rules of Islam, which are endangered, especially from the attacks of the neo-liberalism, and neo-colonialism, with it (the Khilafah) these gracious countries will return to their former past, honoured and victorious because of the implementation of the laws of Its Lord.

Thus, Hizb ut Tahrir / Indonesia affirms the following:

1. We invite all Muslims: heads of organizations, political parties, scholars, and representatives of the Ummah, the army, the police, the media, intellectuals, businessmen, workers, youth, and students, to the serious hard work for the implementation of the Shariah rules in this country, and to put this work at the top of their priorities. The implementation of the Shariah rules in the life of the individual and the society and the state is an obligation on every Muslim, and the sign of obedience to Allah and worshipping Him alone.

2. We invite people to participate in these events. And to be witnesses for asking Muslims to resume the Islamic way of life under the shade of the rightly guided Islamic Khilafah that implements all the Shariah rules.

3. We ask the government to look at these events as a reflection of the demands of the Ummah guaranteed by the law, and we call the security services to secure these events so they are conducted safely and are well-ordered.

Allah is sufficient for us, He is the best Disposer of affairs, He is the best Helper and best Supporter
