Who Should be Pleased is Not the Enemy of Islam Trump, But the Muslims!
However short, Turkish President Erdoğan had a face to face meeting with US President Trump for the first time in 16th of May 2017. Before the President’s visit Chief of Staff Hulusi Akar, MİT (National Intelligence Agency) Undersecretary Hakan Fidan and the Presidential Spokesman Ibrahim Kalın went to Washington a week early for the preliminaries of the meeting. This committee was supposedly to convey to their counterparts that PYD/YPG have to be viewed as terrorist organisations and the return of Gulen. But even before President Erdoğan’s visit to the US, Trump ratified the weapon support to YPG. So Erdoğan’s statement which he made many times; “Are you with us or with these terrorist organisations, PYD and YPG?” has been answered plainly!
After Trump’s ratification of the weapon support to PYD/YPG/PKK the public expected, justly so, that Erdoğan would cancel this visit. But Erdoğan managed to increase the expectancy of the public by saying: “I will convey our concerns to Trump personally”, “The meeting we will conduct will not be a coma, it will be a period”. But like always the results were different! President Erdoğan answered the question a journalist asked, “Did you put a coma or a period, how do you see it, at what stage did we reach?” with “it would not be all right if we put a period“. On the other hand, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Çavuşoğlu commented on the President’s visit to the US that they conveyed a message to the US that they would implement the engagement rules against YPG and that they got the promise of the US that “the weapons given to YPG will not be used against us”.
We as the Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir Wilayah Turkey state and stress the following points on President Erdoğan’s visit to America and the view planted by the distorting media:
- Turkey has played a role in every kind of dirty politics in its spineless foreign politics on Syria, from its supposed opposition to Assad, supporting transition with Assad, conditioned sponsoring of moderate armed groups, to instigating distrust between groups. With its Euphrates Shield Operation, it managed to shield Assad instead of the Syrian victims. After it could not attain results in Geneva, Turkey turned the opposition groups to Astana and forced them to agreements. Lastly by signing the agreement to “No-war zones”, it became a shield to the Assad regime. Turkey did all of this for the interest of the US which it is in its orbit.
- America wants to destroy the revolution of devout Syrians by bringing coalition forces, Russia and other countries into the region to Syria under the pretext of “War on Terrorism” at the same time by also instigating ethnic and sect wars. America wants to extend the life of the Assad regime so that it can realise the political solution it wants. They use all collaborating states and organisations for this end. Whoever is eager for this plan of the US; be it state, organisation or group, they will be branded as traitors in the eyes of the Muslim Ummah.
- Turkey’s demand from the US to “use the TSK (Turkish Armed Forces) in the Raqqa operation” gives legitimacy to America’s war on Muslims while also humiliates the people of Turkey. Since when have Turkish soldiers become the infantry of America!
- We understand from the statements that the subjects of President Erdoğan’s trip to America was neither Syria, nor the gift of weapons to PYD/YPG or the return of Gulen. Because all of these have been discussed by the committee which travelled prior to the visit. This visit which has been intentionally exaggerated by the media, is a visit where leaders who are in love with their masters and see getting their approval as a great honour, by showing their loyalty entrench their thrones.
- Whatever the reason or pretext, it is Haram for the Kuffar chiefly America to establish authority over the Muslims. So we condemn all the leaders who give legitimacy to the occupations of America. We urge them to repent from this sin immediately and instead of pleasing America, to please the victims instead.
We as Hizb ut Tahrir Wilayah Turkey warn our Muslim people from the games of the leaders who collaborate with the West and the deluding play on views by the media. Do not trust to fooled and fooling leaders! Do not be deceived by the leaders who said “We are going to put a period” and say “We cannot put a period now”! Then you should also work with those who work day and night to establish the Khilafah Rashidah that will carry Islam to the world as a torch of guidance and will destroy America and its sidekicks!
