Proposal to Legitimize Interest is Part of Efforts to Force the Liberalization and Secularization of Pakistan
The President of Pakistan, Mamnoon Hussain, on 26th November 2015 presented a proposal to Ullema to make some room in order to legitimate interest for house building loans. The Constitution of Pakistan legitimizes interest already, as this constitution is not based on Quran and Sunnah, rather it is the continuation of the Government of India Act 1935 with some alterations left by the British Raj. However, the Muslims of Pakistan never considered interest as Halaal because they know that interest is war against Allah (swt) and His Messenger (saaw) which can never legitimized under any circumstance.
يَا أَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ ٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَذَرُواْ مَا بَقِىَ مِنَ ٱلرِّبَا إِن كُنْتُمْ مُّؤْمِنِينَ ط فَإِن لَّمْ تَفْعَلُواْ فَأْذَنُواْ بِحَرْبٍ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَإِنْ تُبْتُمْ فَلَكُمْ رُؤُوسُ أَمْوَالِكُمْ لاَ تَظْلِمُونَ وَلاَ تُظْلَمُونَ
“O you who believe! Be careful of (your duty to) Allah and relinquish what remains (due) from usury, if you are believers. But if you do (it) not, then be apprised of war from Allah and His Messenger; and if you repent, then you shall have your capital; neither shall you make (the debtor) suffer loss, nor shall you be made to suffer loss.” [Al-Baqara: 278-279]
In order to protect the American hegemony in Pakistan and its region and to eradicate any resistance against it, the National Action Plan was manufactured upon American instructions so that the voices of Islam and Muslims can be suppressed. However, America knows very well that as long as Muslims are connected with their Aqeeda (creed), no oppression, no matter how severe it is, will be able to force Muslims to abandon their desire of implementing Islam. Therefore on one front, under the National Action Plan, Mujaheedin fighting crusaders and Muslims calling for the implementation of Islam are declared “terrorist” and “extremist” respectively, and on the second front, under this American plan, Liberalism instead of Islam has been declared as Pakistan’s future destination. This is even though even the children of Pakistan know that Pakistan was established for the sake of Islam.
A true Islamic state will never implement interest, as every Muslim knows. However, the government is enforcing the liberal thought that practicing religion is an individual act, which has no connection with the laws of the state. The recent judgment of the Supreme Court on interest also supports this narrative, in which it had been said that this matter is between an individual and his Creator, and if anyone wants to follow his Creators orders he can, but the court will not force the state to follow the order of Allah (swt)! And now there is a proposal of the President, Mamnoon Hussain, to create room in order to legitimize interest on house building loans is also part of this process. And we remind the President, who is normally kept hidden in the background, only to be wheeled out on occasion to the do the dirty work of the regime, of the hadith of RasulAllah (saaw),
«مَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ فَلْيَقُلْ خَيْرًا أَوْ لِيَصْمُتْ»
“Whosoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him speak good or keep quiet.” (Muslim and Bukhari)
Hizb-ut-Tahrir Wilayah Pakistan asks the sincere officers in the armed forces as to how they will face their Creator, Allah (swt), on Judgment Day, when they will be asked as to how they supported and protected a government which considered interest a legitimize action, even though it is war against Allah (swt) and His Messenger (saaw)? No excuse will be accepted from you because you had two options, either you continue to allow the waging of war against Allah (swt) and His Messenger (saaw) because of the fear of the Raheel-Nawaz regime and their dungeons, or you could have withdrawn your support for the Kufr system and provided Nussrah to Hizb-ut-Tahrir for the establishment of Khilafah. Only the Khilafah will end this war against Allah (swt) and His Messenger (saaw) by implementing Islam comprehensively. So now you must decide whether you want to continue to allow this war against Allah (swt) and His Messenger (saw) for the fleeting pleasures of this worldly life or you face the oppression of the Raheel-Nawaz regime for the pleasure of Allah swt and His Messenger (saw) and the reward of eternal bliss. And if you decide to take the side of Allah (swt) and His Messenger (saw), then surely Allah (swt) will make you succeed in this world and in Hereafter as well.
وَكَانَ حَقّاً عَلَيْنَا نَصْرُ ٱلْمُؤْمِنينَ
“And (as for) the believers it was incumbent upon Us to help (them).” [Ar-Rum:47]
