Princeton Lyman the Architect of the National Dialogue Inspects the Dialogue Committees and Exposes his False Patriotic Claims

On Monday the 8th of February 2016 President Bashir was handed the recommendations of the societal dialogue and said: “The dialogue did not come from weakness, dictations or pressures but rather they came from conviction and a deep belief”. On the very same day, the senior consultant from the American Peace Institute Princeton Lyman along with Mrs Susan Baqrin, an official of the Africa department in the American Embassy in Khartoum, undertook a visit to the General Secretary of the National Conference in Friendship Hall… Lyman, in his press statements on the Media centre for the Dialogue following his visit to the Dialogue committee, his meeting with the General Secretary, and his observing of the work of the freedom and identity committees, praised the efforts of the dialogue members and their role in accomplishing and formulating a national conciliation… And Lyman said that the outcomes of the Dialogue will have a powerful impact in respect to the efforts to lift the American sanctions from Sudan and he expressed his hope that the outcomes of the dialogue will lead to the realization of the principles of democracy and peace in Sudan.
We in the Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir in Wilayah Sudan reiterate the following facts:
Firstly: The National Dialogue represents a badly produced theatre production through which it is intended to make the ruling in Sudan explicitly secular and to tear apart what remains of Sudan.
Secondly: We remind you that Princeton Lyman is the very person who architected this National Dialogue before its announcement via the ‘Wathbah’ address of January 2014 and it was he who wrote the following in August 2013: “The time has come for Sudan to enter into an internal dialogue and a real process of reform that leads to the establishment of a broad democratic government that seeks to realise a significant national reconciliation between all Sudanese”. And he- Lyman – is now inspecting the Dialogue committees and revising their performance to make sure that his plan is proceeding according to what America had drawn out, irrespective of the statements of Bashir claiming that the Dialogue came as a result of a conviction and not from pressures and dictates!!
Thirdly: America did not even leave a sweet wrapper to cover the shame of the Sudanese rulers and so they expose them with arrogance on the very same day that the regime is celebrating the outcomes of the societal dialogue.
The matter has become clearly revealed to all those who have sight and awareness. The time has come for the people of Sudan to stand against its secularization and fragmentation and to work alongside those working for the restoration of the rightly guided Khilafah (Caliphate) upon the path of the Prophethood which will establish the Islamic life, restore the decisiveness of the Ummah and cut the meddlesome hand of America from our lands.
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اسْتَجِيبُوا لِلَّهِ وَلِلرَّسُولِ إِذَا دَعَاكُمْ لِمَا يُحْيِيكُمْ
“O You who believe, respond to Allah and the Messenger when they call you to that which gives you life” [Al-Anfaal: 24].
