Press Release

US to maintain its intervention in Afghanistan by pressing Afghan Government

(Translated)

Based on a latest survey, conducted by U.S. Broadcasting Board of Governors (BBG), prime contractor for survey research Gallop Company cited that 81% of Afghan population is discontent with the Afghan government’s services. This estimation indicates that 69% of people describe their current life being worse than the year 2015.

High-ranked political and military US officials have been asserting to decrease the legitimacy of the Afghan Government since the beginning of 2016 and estimated the upcoming year a very dangerous year to Afghans. Similarly, the Director of the CIA addressed that Afghanistan encounters a political downfall in 2016. By such expressions, American officials try to delay the withdrawal of its troops which was planned to have been withdrawn by the end of ongoing year; therefore, they plan to send some fresh soldiers to Helmand province as well. The US, indeed, by such conflicting statements strive to discredit the incompetent two-headed John Kerry created Afghan government. The US also by using such expressions attempts to implement its policies and strategies by using new techniques under the pretext of people’s dissatisfaction with the government. Finally, the US focuses to widen its intervention into every sphere of people’s life and to exploit the resources and potential of Afghans as a means of targeting its strategic goals in the region.
