Why Does the Secretary General of the National Dialogue Obscure, then Refuse, then Deny, in Respect to Confronting Hizb ut Tahrir?!

(Translated)

The Secretary General of the National Dialogue, Hisham Ali Saalim, refused on 19/06/2016 to provide Hizb ut Tahrir, with a copy of the recommendations of the National Dialogue. He did not find that enough but rather denied any knowledge of Hizb ut Tahrir claiming that he had not received any vision from Hizb ut Tahrir in relation to the issues proposed upon the table of the National Dialogue.

At the same time, the general secretary was briefing (the political official), the deputy-head of the US diplomatic mission to Sudan (David Scott) about the dialogue’s developments. Indeed, the Secretary General of the National Dialogue did not conceal his defence of the one behind the National Dialogue project – America – and to portray it as if it is merely a charitable association and a messenger of love and peace to the people of Sudan. That is when he said: “Indeed, the United States of America strongly backs the Sudanese dialogue and it is unlikely for there to be an agenda behind that apart from its desire for Sudan to be a stable state” (Shurooq Site, Sunday 19/06/2016).

Based upon the above it is necessary to clarify the following truths:

Firstly: On 22/10/2015 a delegation from Hizb ut Tahrir in the Wilayah of Sudan delivered to the Secretary General of the National Dialogue Hisham Ali Saalim at his office in the Friendship Hall an open letter from Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Sudan to the members of the dialogue conference, in particular, and the people of Sudan in general. It was a letter that included the political and Shar’iah vision of Hizb ut Tahrir related to the issue of the dialogue. At that time, the Secretary General had promised to deliver the letter to the six dialogue committees. However, he did not do that, but rather followed the policy of a media blackout of his meeting with the delegation of the Hizb, to then go on later to deny that he had ever received the letter from the Hizb’s delegation!

Secondly: Hizb ut Tahrir is public and accessible to the hearing and sight and none denies it apart from the one whose eye had sand thrown in it. The Secretary General, when meeting our delegation, had been keen for our Hizb to become a part of the dialogue setup, and then when he lost hope of that, he snubbed the Hizb!!!

Thirdly: We in Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Sudan remain continuously clarifying and reiterating that this dialogue is only an American project to secularise Sudan, to fragment it and to implement the paper of the American Institute of Peace (Number: 155) which was drafted by the former special envoy to Sudan Princeton Lyman and John Tynan. It is for that reason that the Secretary General is following the policy of a blackout, refusal and denial, in respect to confronting Hizb ut Tahrir, which holds the antidote to the American Kufr plans. And the one who follows the political scene finds that America has come out with vigorous energy to make this dialogue succeed!

Finally: We, in Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Sudan, will continue in our work, firm upon our ideology, joining the nights to the days to give honour to Islaam and its followers through the establishment of the second rightly guided Khilafah State (Caliphate) upon the methodology of the Prophethood. The betrayal of those who betray will not harm us, nor the plots of the conspirators, until Allah makes an opening between us and them. He is our Wali (Protector and Guardian), the Best of Guardians and the Best of Protectors.
