The Security and Intelligence Apparatus in the City of Wad Madani is still Detaining Members of Hizb ut Tahrir
On Saturday, 6/1/2018, the Security and Intelligence Apparatus in the City of Wad Madani; the capital of Al-Jazira province, have arrested two members of Hizb ut Tahrir, Salih Ali Al-Fadl and Izz Ad-Din Yusuf, who were taken from their workplaces, and are detained for the second day without any regard for their Shariah rights, legal rights, or their health as Salih is suffering from high blood pressure; this forced his jailers to bring him to the doctors at the Police Hospital, and then they took him back to prison!
The crime committed by these two members of the party is carrying out the Shariah duty, calling to Islam in a peaceful way, following the Messenger of Allah. They distributed a leaflet issued by the party in the Wilayah of Sudan entitled “Sudan’s General Budget: More Poverty, Miserable life and Hardship”. The party in that leaflet is accounting, on the basis of Islam, the behaviour of the government that leads to people’s poverty, misery and hardship by obeying the IMF’s recommendation and making it the basis for the general budget.
We in Hizb ut Tahrir/Wilayah of Sudan recognize that the government is a gang of colonial agents, not governed by a constitution or law, let alone Shariah law! We call on the honourable people of our great Ummah; the politicians, thinkers and the media to expose the crimes of this regime and its conspiracy against the people of the country and its wealth, and to raise their voices high because cowardice, fear and weakness are not qualities of the leaders of the people or the characteristics of a fair media!
O despicable traitorous rulers who continue the war against Allah (swt) and His Messenger and upon His followers who are the advocates of truth, repent to your guidance and return to Allah, your Creator, and release the Islamic Dawah carriers and all the oppressed from your prisons. Allah will delay the punishment of the wrong doers, but will not forget to punish them.
Allah (swt) says:
﴿وَكَذَلِكَ أَخْذُ رَبِّكَ إِذَا أَخَذَ الْقُرَى وَهِيَ ظَالِمَةٌ إِنَّ أَخْذَهُ أَلِيمٌ شَدِيدٌ﴾
“And thus is the seizure of your Lord when He seizes the cities while they are committing wrong. Indeed, His seizure is painful and severe” [Hud: 102]
