New Arrests of Hizb ut Tahrir Members in Tajikistan!

On April 9, 2015 CE, the Khujand City Court in the Sughd region in the Republic of Tajikistan headed by Shokhrata Okhrorzuda ruled against 5 members of Hizb ut Tahrir, ages ranging from 35-42 years. The court convicted them of committing a crime according to Article 307 Item 3, Part 2 of the Criminal Code (the formation of an extremist organization, and participating in political party activities, public or religious or other organizations and associations, the Court has taken a decision to discharge or ban its activity for its links to extremist activities). They were sentenced to prison terms ranging from three years to three and a half years. Note that this is not the first trial of our brothers; they have already served a prison term in the prisons of the tyrant.

The authorities in Tajikistan are not based on any intellectual, secular, material, or Islamic basis, but it rules the people with the law of the jungle, where the party that possesses the material strength is the right one, and one who does not is the wrong one! The lack of ideological foundations for human life, society, and the state, and the lack of belief in ideas led to repressive authoritarianism against the people and the unjust rule of oppression and tyranny.

Muslims of Tajikistan are subjected daily to the tyranny and injustice of the repressive authority, in the form of the economic problems caused by the monopoly of looting the country’s wealth by the authority for its followers and beneficiaries, and social problems resulting from the fact that the authority does not look after the affairs of the people and is not concerned with meeting their needs, and in education; where the government does not want to see educated people who will account it and who will search for real solutions to their problems. The government also practices unjust repressive security policies which are stifling the people to prevent them from demanding a decent live according to their belief and the law of the Lord; like banning the headscarf, and the closure of mosques and preventing young people from frequenting mosques, and fines those who grow beards and much more. All of these practices are in place to please the colonists in Russia and the West at the expense of the people’s suffering.

Hizb ut Tahrir is established on a doctrine based on divine revelation, which is Islam; a system for human life, the state, and society from the Creator, the Lord of the Worlds (swt) and Islam includes solutions for all human problems; it convinces the mind and fills the heart with tranquility. Members of Hizb ut Tahrir carry these ideas and spread them among the Muslims, who responded to the call of the Hizb and embraced it willingly despite the prosecutions of tyrant Rahmon’s regime. The Hizb calls for its thoughts publicly without the use of violence, or coercion, or threats, by way of intellectual and political struggle following the method of Prophet Muhammad (saw).

The regime of the tyrant Rahmon is weak in the face of the intellectual and political discourse of Hizb ut Tahrir, as it is intellectually bankrupt, so it resorted to the fabrication of charges against party members of extremism and the distribution of materials inciting hatred. It also pursues and detains anyone who has a relationship with the party. This is not targeting the Hizb, but it is declaring war against Allah (swt); because the party is calling people to the obedience of Allah (swt) and the adherence to His orders and to abstain from what He (swt) prohibited.
We say to Rahmon and his henchmen: You will not extinguish the Light of Allah, and the call is proceeding until Allah grants us the victory over you, and we warn you of Allah’s Wrath and His abhorrence and indignation. You must take heed from the fate of those who preceded you from the tyrants of darkness, it is better for you to stop before it is too late, otherwise you will meet the same fate of Pharaoh and his soldiers and the fate of Abu Jahl and Abu Lahab.

Allah (swt) says:
﴿يُرِيدُونَ أَن يُطْفِؤُواْ نُورَ اللّهِ بِأَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَيَأْبَى اللّهُ إِلاَّ أَن يُتِمَّ نُورَهُ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْكَافِرُونَ﴾
“They want to extinguish the light of Allah with their mouths, but Allah refuses except to perfect His light, although the disbelievers dislike it” [At-Tawba: 32]
