Security Authorities in the Town of Nayala in Southern Darfur are Irritated by Being Addressed by the Rulings of Islam and Arrest Sheikh As-Samaani

The security authorities in the town of Nayala located in the South of Darfur arrested Brother Sheikh Muhammad As-Samaani, member of Hizb ut Tahrir, at six o’clock in the evening yesterday on Tuesday in the Mawlid square by the market. This was where Hizb ut Tahrir was holding an open discussion point and making the people aware of the Ummah’s vital issue, which is none other than the resumption of the Islamic way of life via the establishment of the rightly guided Khilafah (caliphate) upon the methodology of the Prophethood. The opening of the notification under case number (858) under articles (69) and (77) was completed in the Western precinct (Al-Jair precinct) against Sheikh Muhammad As-Samaani, who was still under detention in the precinct at the time of the writing of this statement.
The discussion points that Hizb ut Tahrir in the Wilayah of Sudan conduct in the different provinces of Sudan aim to culture the people with a truthful Islamic culture. Through this culture, people come to know that it is necessary to make Islam the basis for every thought, opinion and action. In that way these discussion points are for the purpose of Da’wah actions to Allah which is undertaken by men who are not distracted from the remembrance of Allah by trade or business. They join their nights to their days for the sake of reviving the Ummah from the situation that it is in, in terms of backwardness and being distanced from Islam and its rulings.
So how can it be that the one who is engaged in such a great action be a cause of harm to the public peace and be committing a crime of causing annoyance to the public, in accordance to the expressed meaning of the two articles that were used to bring the charge against Sheikh Muhammad As-Samaani?! They should place the likes of the Sheikh in a position of honour for the noble work that he undertakes and not fought against.
Verily Allah has promised (and His promise is the Haqq) that those who block His path will have the end of the corrupters. Allah glorified is He said:
وَلا تَقْعُدُوا بِكُلِّ صِرَاطٍ تُوعِدُونَ وَتَصُدُّونَ عَنْ سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ مَنْ آمَنَ بِهِ وَتَبْغُونَهَا عِوَجًا وَاذْكُرُوا إِذْ كُنْتُمْ قَلِيلا فَكَثَّرَكُمْ وَانْظُرُوا كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُفْسِدِينَ
“And do not sit on every path, threatening and averting from the way of Allah those who believe in Him, seeking to make it [seem] deviant. And remember when you were few and He increased you. And see how was the end of the corrupters” [Al-A’raf: 86].
The security authorities of the Southern Darfur province, who are incapable of undertaking their obligation of providing security to even those residing in the Nayala province, must know that the like of these charges conspired against the carriers of the Da’wah from the Shabab of Hizb ut Tahrir, only represents a sinful act and crime, and that it will never divert the Shabab of the Hizb who have sold themselves to Allah. They will not be harmed by arrest, imprisonment or torture and they will continue to work with all seriousness with the Ummah for the sake of establishing the rightly guided Khilafah (caliphate) upon the path of the Prophethood which the time and era for it has come.
And we ask Allah for us to be from its men and witnesses so that we may attain the goodness of both the Dunya and the Akhirah and at that time those who have oppressed will know their destination that they will be turned to.
