Wasting the Country’s Resources in the Name of Investment and Destruction of its Wealth

Tuesday 07/02/2017, “The Newspaper” issued a dangerous reportage about the import of palm seedlings infested with a fungus that causes the deathly oval palm illness, it is stated in the reportage:
“As part of a routine procedure, the Agricultural Quarantine Department subjected the samples for laboratory examination, so that it might be assured of the seedlings not being infected with any diseases. As part of the preparation for the seedling’s entry and until the result of the examination would be ready, the Amtar Company received a temporary release for a shipment from the Health Quarantine Department and signed that it would not dispose of the seedlings under the release period, until the results of the examination would be available. Alas the results showed that the seedlings were 100 % infected with the fungus fusarium oxysporum, which causes the oval disease – a serious palm illness”.
The Federal Agriculture Minister, who is also the CEO of the Amtar Company, which supplies the seedlings, refused the examination’s results and formed a committee for the purpose of a re-examination. The Faculty of Science – University of Khartoum, carried this out and it reassured the first result. Even with the reassurance of the result, the company still suspects the results to be false and therefore it has sent a sample to the Nederland (the result has not yet been received).
The catastrophe of this county is its resources are wasted in transactions that smell rotten. Experts have assured that the company’s loss would be one million and three hundred thousand dollars, and the bigger catastrophe is that the country’s wealth would be wasted in the form of palms in the northern states though the transmitted diseases. Though such suspicious transactions, where it is proofed that the fungus in the seedlings is the same one that destroyed 12 million palm trees in Morocco and causing the emigration of the area’s population. What assures their indifference with the country’s palm tree wealth is the persistence of the company (protected by the minister) on not accepting the results, which proofs the existence of the killer fungus in the seedlings. The mentality is a utilitarian and selfish mentality, that does not care what befalls the country of destruction and devastation of its wealth, rather they are concerned with filling their pockets which are never satisfied.
Surely the soon return of the second Khilafah Al-Rahidah State on the method of the Prophet is the only thing that will stop this tampering with the country’s wealth and stop damage by following the laws of Islam. On the authority of Ibn Abbas who said: Messenger of Allah (saw) said:
«لا ضَرَرَ وَلا ضِرَارَ»
“No harm and harming”.
