Press Release: Secularism is Entrenching its Mischievousness to the Mainstream Religions
The Attorney General of Kenya, Mr. Githu Muigai, has drafted laws to regulate religious organizations and groups together with its preachers. These laws are alleged to be a plot by the government to stem the conning malpractices committed by some churches and also to fight against religious radicalism. This has collectively raised the mixed reactions across the religious leaders while majority of them condemning the proposed laws. We in the Islamic party of Hizb ut Tahrir / East Africa wish to state the following:
We condemn with the strongest terms these laws which in reality are a manifestation of the filthy and corrupt secularist thought which has given the human being the liberty to legislate his laws and to infringe the religious sanctity. We categorically state that these proposed laws are contrary to the alleged constitutional right of freedom of worship and that the state is not supposed to interfere with religion!
As for the bedeviling of the church with fraudulent and conning acts, certainly that is just a part of the many problems that face the Capitalist society. These are the fruits of the evil capitalist ideology which contributes to amassing of wealth by all means. The genuine solution to fighting that predicament and the rest is to discard the capitalist ideology which has ruined people including those known as religious leaders. Therefore it is crystal clear that this is another attempt to conceal the shame of the capitalist ideology which has corrupted the whole society and especially its corrupt political class which they are embezzling the public wealth on a daily basis and leave citizens languishing.
These new laws surprisingly are part of the dangerous weapons of the government to curtail the Islamic propagation which is aiming at liberating the world from the atrocities of the capitalists. Before these laws, there are draconian legislations that were passed against the Muslims in the name of the fight against terror. Not only that, the Islamic Laws are viciously fought under the guise of countering extremism, radicalism and terrorism.
We conclude by stating that Secularism which is the rubber stamp of democracy in legislating strange and draconian laws is a corrupt creed and should not be adopted by all people of mainstream religions. What is heartbreaking is that while the church is vehemently opposing the said laws we regularly see it standing together with the secular states in the fight against Islam! Due to that Islam does not conform to the secular thoughts because it contradicts with human nature. Allah (swt) created humans and gave them a comprehensive system to adhere to here on earth and not to legislate laws that cause all manners of tribulations.
